NOTIFICATION

'PALAKKAD BRANCH OF SIRC OF ICAI' , the name of which was Palghat Branch was constituted with effect from 31st December 1987 vide Notification 28-RC(2)/26/88 dated 13th January 1988
to take care of the needs of the members and students of Palakkad. The First office bearers of the branch was:-

'PALAKKAD BRANCH OF SIRC OF ICAI' , being one of the Decentralized branches under SIRC, is offering a wide range of facilities, prescribed by ICAI, for both members and students.
The branch has offered various CPE Programmes, certificate courses, Regional Residential Courses and Library facilities for members. Now during lock down due to Covid 19, Branch is actively conducting Webinars and Virtual CPE Meetings on Various subjects to members.
The branch had been striving itself to conduct members' and students' programs on regular places.
The branch had also been actively joining hands with other branches and has conducted joint conference programs for members. The branch has initiated and conducted the joint Virtual conference named Navaratna joining hands with the other 8 branches of ICAI in Kerala. In addition to this all the recommended important days like CA Day, Women's Day, Yoga Day etc., has been celebrated by the branch with tremendous enthusiasm and commitment.
The branch has proud moments like the visits of past Presidents of ICAI, Central Council members and Regional Council members for various programs conducted by Branch and SICASA.

ABOUT SICASA

The branch has a very active wing of SICASA (Southern India Chartered Accountants Students' Association) organizes Students Career Counseling programs, Coaching classes, Students Day Celebration with Elocution Contests, Quiz Contests, Sports Competition etc., The Branch SICASA was formed with effect from 18th August 1997
